Maternal-fetal Medicine

A maternal-fetal medicine specialist is an obstetrician/gynecologist who has completed several years of additional training in maternal and fetal complications of pregnancy. The Division of Maternal-fetal Medicine at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center has experienced physicians with expertise in managing complicated pregnancies.

If a high-risk condition is identified in you or your unborn child, you and your baby may benefit from delivering in our hospital. Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists can provide expert care at every stage of pregnancy, and will work closely with the physicians in the Perinatal Center to help coordinate all aspects of care.
